Well, we missed a Happy Easter post! Gabe and Layla's mommy is a very busy mommy who doesn't get to update as often as she wants! Easter was wonderful! Gabe wasn't really sure what to think about the Easter bunny coming by and dropping off gifts. The Easter bunny left his poop all over our living room and it looked vaguely like jelly beans which Gabe loves so I think maybe that confused him just a bit. Plus the Easter bunny doesn't get the "pre-holiday recognition" that Santa does so he just didn't realize that something big was supposed to happen at his house on Easter morning. But once he warmed up to the idea, he was pretty stoked about his loot. Especially about his "snowplow" aka "garbage truck".
He was also an old hat at the egg hunts. He had one at school and then the one at home with his cousins Jessie and Eli. He had no problem zipping around the yard and filling his basket with eggs! And he also had no problems eating the candy that was inside of them!

This is really funny to me. For some reason after we had a wonderfully nutritious supper from McDonald's, he decided the happy meal box would make a great hat. I kind of think so too, don't you?
